An amazing personal pencil sharpener for graphite or colored pencils.

This eraser can be molded to erase tiny areas. You can press and lift instead of rubbing, and you can knead it to clean it!

Some watercolor projects use masking fluid. This is the easiest to use that I have found.

Masking Tape or Artist tape to use for applying to mounting surface. You will need this of the frog tape.

Dark Red - a wonderful deep reddish-brown tone. (Can also use Perlyene Maroon)

Medium Red - a must have! A bluish-red pigment listed on the basic palette of a vast majority of artists. You can also use Quinacridone Rose or Rose Madder in its place.

Light Blue - a great light blue. Make sure you get just Cerulean Blue not Cerulean Blue Chromium.

Medium Green - a great natural green value that you will enjoy using!

Light Brown - don't let the name fool you. A must have! You'll be surprised at how much you'll use this!

Medium Blue - a basic blue, as close to a primary blue as you can get!

Medium Blue - some artists prefer this for their medium blue and others Cobalt Blue. I actually like having both!

A great secondary color ready to use instead of mixing your own! (Can also use Cad Orange Hue)

Dark Brown - this is a great dark value. (Can also use asphaltum or raw umber)

Light Yellow - a soft creamy yellow/white tint.

Dark Yellow - a vibrant warm yellow that you'll discover many uses for! (Can also use Indian Yellow)

These are the best brushes ever! This is a good variety set. They are often on sale which makes them reasonably priced.

The best watercolor paper out there! Buy these books or pick up full sheets available at many art stores.

This is a great tool to improve your accuracy. You can use this tool to check your measurements and draw the same size or to resize your drawing from the reference. We will be teaching you about this tool when you get to the portrait lesson, so it is not needed immediately.

You'll need an empty watercolor palette to squeeze your paint tubes into. I really like this one because of the extra mixing areas!

Tape or staple your wc paper to keep your paper from curling up. It's quite expensive online so we've bought it in bulk so you can purchase it from us!

These lifts can be stacked together for a variety of heights. Perfect for watercolorist and great for drawing on an angle as well.

This handy pocket color wheel will be a great tool as you create with color!

These are the best round brushes ever! They hold a tip and are very durable. They are often on sale at kingartco.com, which makes them reasonably priced. Make sure you have a variety of some kind of round brushes.

You'll need a spray bottle to keep handy while painting! You can something simple like this or the continuous spray bottle listed as optional.

These brushes can be filled with water so you can watercolor without having a water container. Fun for watercolor sketching.

A very vibrant, intense gold color.

A light and very vibrant green that makes your greens pop!

This is probably my most favorite color! It is so striking and mixes well with other colors. It's a great neutral purple!

Using an absorbent rag instead of paper towels is so amazing!

A great way to soften your strokes.
