An amazing personal pencil sharpener for graphite or colored pencils.

This is a great tool to improve your accuracy. You can use this tool to check your measurements and draw the same size or to resize your drawing from the reference. We will be teaching you about this tool when you get to the portrait lesson, so it is not needed immediately.

A great inexpensive T-square ruler for getting perfect horizontal and vertical lines.

A great inexpensive brush for getting eraser and pencil crumbs off your paper without smearing!

A sturdy, no-spill container for your turpenoid oil brush cleaner.

A retractable eraser for smaller areas.

You must have your own painting surface after launch. This is one option- it's an Inexpensive panel that is great to start learning on.

For mixing colors on your palette.

(Lt-Yellow) I prefer Gamblin or M Graham. Can also use a Cad Yellow Light.

You'll use this a lot when mixing colors, so buy the larger tube.

This handy pocket color wheel will be a great tool as you create with color!

This is the palette most students get. This is a great holder for the disposable gray palette paper or the glass palette. You can also use it to carry smaller wet painting to take home. Many students purchase two! There are other palette options listed under optional if you would prefer to try something different.

A great way to protect your clothes! Any type apron will do, some student prefer the Lab coat. (which is listed under optional)

This is a great medium to mix with your paints if they are too stiff.

(Dk-Yellow) You'll be amazed at how much you use this color! Use M. Graham or Gamblin.

(DkBrown). Either of these are great darker browns. Often one i not available.

(Mid to Dark Green) a good natural green!

(Med-Blue) A great blue that leans slightly green.

(Dk-Red) You also can use a Transparent Earth Red in Gamblin or M Graham brands.

A great way to clean your brushes without using turpenoid or gamsol.

This is a great tool for cleaning your palette. Comes with two handles and 100 plastic blades so it doesn't scratch your palette.

Canvas paper to paint charts or tape to board for painting. Does not absorb so much paint! These will be used for Color Theory lessons and sample pieces.

(Mid-Red) Gamblin brand is fine too.

I love this color when painting landscapes.

The most amazing soap for cleaning off the oil paint from your hands and brushes. We provide it in the studio.

This is a great spray to use on graphite and charcoal drawings and you can continue working on it if desired.

A fancier and smaller palette. This is a little more shallow than the standard palette box and easier to use with a palette knife, however it is smaller. It's a personal choice- just one more option!

Sometimes the 12" ruler is just not long enough!

Another painting surface that is inexpensive. The stretch canvas is a good one to try after you've tried the canvas panels. Approximately 9x12 to 11x14 is best to start with.

A handy little tool to help you get a variety of different size circles.

These test tube holder work great for holder your 37 ml paint tube upright. It helps keep them clean and organized! Comes in a three pack.

A pack of 8- 11x14" sheets. These are great painting surfaces for those that prefer a smoother surface to paint on. They must be gessoed before use.

This glass palette is mid value so it makes it easier to mix your oil paints on and it fits inside the palette box.

Some of the nicest drawing surfaces I've used. Especially good for colored pencils and portrait drawing because of the smooth texture.
