Events That Boost Artistic Confidence

The Utah State Fair hosts dozens of contests in the competitive arts and you're invited to enter! Entering the Fine Art competition is easy and you "can win ribbons and even cash prizes while sharing your talent with over 300,000 fair visitors!" This is a fantastic venue for artists of all levels to participate in a judged competition.

This three day event is an opportunity to get artwork seen and acquired by 1,000s of art collectors. Artwork of all mediums will be available for sale. This event includes both private and public showings and is a juried event. Whether you submit artwork or not, this will definitely be something to come see!

End your summer season the right way by enjoying plein air painting in beautiful Heber Valley, Utah. This event is hosted by the Plein Air Painters of Utah and the Midway Art Association. There will be 3 full days of instruction and a Saturday exhibit. Registration is now open.

This plein air event is hosted along beautiful scenic byway 12 between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Park. There are "plein air and studio competitions, art exhibits, on-site sales, workshops, demonstrations, arts and crafts fair, live music, guided walks, and much more." Registration is currently open with cost savings for early registration.

Accomplished Artist Studio is excited to announce our first annual Art Rendezvous! This is an exclusive event for our students only. Come mingle with other artists, join us for an artist panel discussion, participate in our quick draw or sign up for a draped model drawing opportunity. There will be presentations, prizes and lots of space to draw and paint together!

Come learn from fellow student artists, network, meet new friends with similar interests and more. Make sure to mark this once a year event on your calendar. You won't want to miss it!

The Sandy Visual Art Show is free and open to the public. It is "a premier, adjudicated art show offering participants the opportunity to publicly exhibit and sell their work, as well as vie for cash prizes. The show highlights watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, 3D art and photography." Artists can submit up to 3 pieces. Art drop off date is October 17th.
