

Basic Drawing Kit

Drawing Pencils

ESSENTIAL- Drawing Pencil set- make sure you get the medium set so you have the widest variety of pencil leads.
Kneaded Eraser

ESSENTIAL- You'll need at least two of these kneaded erasers. One for graphite drawing and the other for charcoal drawing. These erasers can molded to any shape and erase by rubbing back and forth or pressing and lifting.
White Pearl Eraser

ESSENTIAL- Just about any white eraser will work, I prefer these inexpensive erasers.
Drafting Brush

SECONDARY- Any type of drafting brush to brush the eraser crumbs off your paper without smearing it. I really like this hake brush.
Small Sketch Book

ESSENTIAL- Small sketchbooks are perfect for our warm-ups exercises. Any inexpensive brand will do for this.
Drawing Paper

ESSENTIAL- A book of drawing paper (not sketch) is great for your drawing projects.
